The samurai immediately goes to the castle of Inabayama, but when he and his friend Kaede, a kunoichi (ninja woman), arrive at the place, it turns out that it is too late. A young lady informs him of the mysterious kidnappings of her servants, and blames the demons for it. A few years later our main character, a certain Hidemitsu Samanosuke Akechi (Samanosuke for short), receives a letter from his cousin, Princess Yuki from the Sait clan. The action of the game begins in 1560 with a scene depicting the battle for Okehazama between the forces of Imagawa Yoshimoto and Oda Nobunaga – it was the decisive clash in the entire civil war that determined the domination of the Nobunaga forces and began the Sengoku era.ĭuring the aforementioned clash, Oda Nobunaga is hit by an arrow in the throat and dies. The plot of the title is based on real historical events, which adds its own note of magic and creates an original version of some legends about the famous Japanese emperor.
